Bricktop Racing Foxbody Mustang

Bricktop Racing 2026

I've done a lot of design work for Nathan over the last 6 years including a couple of renderings for one of his previous cars more than three years ago that included a purple theme. That build never came to fruition but his love for purple never dwindled!

The Mustang was built across the pond and raced a lot in Canada before being shipped over to the UK. Nathan bought the car as a roller (no engine or transmission) and he then went about building his own 420ci LSX now equipped with a huge turbo.

For the 2025 season I joined Nathan's team as a crew member. It was the first year running the car in competition. Lots of ups and downs of course for a new car, new team etc... but Nathan and the team were competitive. More so than most had anticipated, crew included!

Over the winter Nathan and crew have been working hard to make updates to the car for the coming season, and during those long Sundays in the garage the topic of purple came up... a lot!

The itch was strong, and a decision was made to wrap the Mustang purple for the coming season. So I produced some new renderings to guide the idea as well as work out the graphics for sponsors etc...

The colour is Oracal Purple from Orafol. It's the perfect blend between Cadbury's purple and Nissan's famous midnight purple originally used on the R33 Skyline GTR's.

Our sponsors not only extended their sponsorships for another year, but some even increased their funding thanks to the results, exposure and coverage the car got last season... and the icing on the cake is that they agreed we could alter their colours to help match the proposed colour better!
It's almost time to make some noise. The 2026 season officially starts at Santa Pod Raceway the first weekend of April. Trust me, we can't wait!
